Activities are so abundant in Williams, it’s impossible to experience all the area has to offer during just one visit. Future return trips are a must for those seeking a true taste of this region.

May 24 - Memorial Day Parade

Williams’ classic small town parade is fun for the whole family.

June 13-14 - Northern Arizona BBQ Festival

The chamber of commerce presents this Kansas City Barbeque Society sanctioned barbecue cook-off. A beer garden featuring regional microbreweries, street dance and kids’ zone are all a part of this weekend in the cool pines of northern Arizona. July 4 - Hometown Fourth of July

August 8-9 - 18th Annual Cool Country Cruise-In

Takes place at Twisters and along Route 66. Route 66 classic car show with trophies given for various classes is a perennial favorite.  For car show registration visit www.route66place.com.

Aug. 30-31 - Williams Labor Day Rodeo

At the Williams Rodeo Grounds. Slash M Rodeo Co. presents the Williams Labor Day Rodeo. Rodeo starts daily at 2 p.m. Junior Rodeo begins at 1 p.m. For more information, call Scott McDaniels  at (520) 403-3309.

September TBA - Taste of Williams

Hosted by Bearizona. Taste of Williams showcases local artists, restaurants and Arizona beer and wine.

Nov. 29 - Williams Parade of Lights & Official Tree Lighting Ceremony

Parade starts at 7 p.m. along Historic Route 66 followed by the tree lighting ceremony.

Nov. 7-Jan. 5 - Grand Canyon Railway presents Polar Express

More than 90,000 passengers will board the Polar Express for the 2014 season. This special night-time excursion takes a little more than an hour, and is a recreation of the popular children’s Christmas book written by Chris VanAllsburg. Book online now or call 1-888-848-3511.
